5 Configure Option
5.1 Accessing the Configure Option
Page 1 of the Commission menu is shown below:

The CONFIGURE option allows the Signalling Loops, peripherals, sounders and relays to be
programmed. It also enables the function to allow the panel to be programmed by a PC.
Press ‘1’ to select the ‘CONFIGURE’ option.
The CONFIGURE option and all sub menu options require the Memory Lock to
be open.
The display then shows a menu of options as follows:

NOTE: The menu will only show the number of signalling loops programmed during setup (Refer to the Setup
Option). The ZX2Se can only have two loops maximum.
5.2 Signalling Loops
After selecting a loop from the configure menu, the display will present a list of options as follows:

The words ‘CONFIGURE: Loop 1’ on the top line of the menus provides a reminder that
panel is in configuration mode, with loop 1 selected.
Select the required option by pressing the appropriate numeric key.
When commissioning a new panel, start by performing an ‘Auto Learn’. This will cause the panel to
search for all devices installed on the loop.
