7.3 Crystal
• The bus operating frequency is precisely measured during manufacture. The measured value is
marked on the CPU board.
• This option allows the measured crystal frequency to be entered into the memory so that the software
can employ an adjustment factor to maintain an accurate date and time clock.
• To select the option, press ‘7’ and the display shows:

Timer crystal frequency = 3.68678 MHz ok ?
• If the frequency is correct, press ‘Yes’ to return to the previous menu.
• If the frequency is not as marked on the CPU, press ‘No’ and enter the least-significant three digits
using the number keys.
• Increasing the number by one will make the time clock lose two seconds per week. Decreasing the
number by one will give a gain of two seconds per week.
