PANEL STATUS: ENGINEER
This is functionally identical to the NORMAL status except
that it indicates that a Passcode has been entered by an
authorised engineer in order to program the system. See
the ID2000 Series Panel Configuration Manual
(997-435-XXX) for further details.
This condition remains active until cancelled by pressing
the
pushbutton (note: not the RESET), or on the
occurrence of any alarm, fault, etc. or until a two-minute
period has elapsed during which no pushbutton has been
pressed.
The LCD displays the message shown below:
The indications of the panel and external equipment are
as follows.
All other indications
and external equipment: as for status NORMAL
PANEL STATUS: ENGINEER-MUTE
This is functionally identical to the NORMAL status except
that a special option has been selected by the authorised
engineer to partially inhibit the functioning of the fault
buzzer. Operation of the FIRE internal buzzer is not
affected. This mode is normally used only during initial
commissioning and testing of a system. See the ID2000
Series Panel Configuration Manual (997-435-XXX) for
further details.

Status: ENGINEER (date) (time)
(blank) or (System Normal message)
Status: ENG.-MUTE (date) (time)
