Check and adjust chain to
eliminate slack.
Misalignment of sprocket.
Check to be sure sprockets
are level and at the correct
height. See Installation
Procedures for further

Chain worn out.
Check chain elongation and
replace as required.
Urethane driver pad
comes off chain
Manual take-up not adjusted
properly.
Check and adjust chain to
eliminate slack.
Improper urethane drive pad
splice.
See the Installation
Procedures for correct
arrangement.
Urethane driver pad
segments too short.
Replace short pieces - 10
feet minimum length.
Incorrect terminal sprocket
height.
Adjust sprocket heights.
See Installation Procedures
for further information.
Improper interference fit
between urethane driver pad
and chain pins.
Replace urethane driver
pad. Make sure urethane
driver is seated completely
on chain.
Excessive urethane driver
pad wear
Sprockets too high.
Adjust sprocket heights.

Rollers not free to rotate.
Replace defective rollers or
remove obstructions.
Rollers driving while
accumulating.
Correct pneumatic controls.
Urethane driver pad not
seated.
Make sure urethane driver
is seated completely on
chain.
Brake and chain track go
up and down at the same
time
Hose from brake actuators
connected to wrong port of
brake valve.
Correct hose connections.
Hissing of air at brake
valve when brake is down
and chain track is up.
Plug at brake valve is loose
or missing.
Tighten or install plug.
