Sprockets
Check teeth for signs of wear or damage.
Check alignment/sprocket height.
Chain Lubricator
Check the level of lubricant in the oil reservoir (add SAE
10 weight non-detergent oil as required).
Check surrounding area for indications of excessive
lubrication.
Check that the chain’s appearance is lightly lubricated
and the lubricant is being applied evenly to the bottom of
the chain.
Check the drip cup and empty if necessary.
Verify the oil reservoir air regulator is set at 12 psi.
Drive Pad
Check the width of the purple wear strip indicator.
Check condition of pad splices.
Check that the pad surface is not excessively dirty or oily.
