6. Once oil is misting properly out of the lube nozzle:
a. Make sure the lube nozzle is aimed directly toward the bottom of the chain.
b. If the chain looks wet and the drip cup has oil, reset the spring-adjustment clip
one notch at a time, decreasing the tension on the spring, until the ball actuator is
NOT passing air.
c. If the chain looks dry:
 Remove the lockout/tagout.
 Turn the conveyor ON.
Do not touch or contact the moving chain. The moving chain can trap hands or
other body parts, hair, or clothing, causing serious personal injury.
 Keeping hands away from the moving chain, slide the sensor sled to the
actuator ball until the entire chain is lubricated.
d. Reset the spring-adjustment clip one notch at a time, adjusting the tension on the
spring, until the sensor sled is in non-actuating contact with the actuator ball.
7. Remove lockout/tagout and restore power.
