Connecting the door lock directly using an
external power supply
You can connect the door lock directly to the reader using an external
power supply. The current shall not exceed 1,2A or a peak of 5A for a
period of 0,5 sec max.
Notes
: For not-resistive loads:
• You must use the 1N4004 diodes as shown in Figure 25. Two
diodes are included in the package.
• The external power supply must be isolated.
