4) Pour the sanitizing solution over the extruding head until the evaporator assembly and
thereservoirarefullandthesolutionstartstooverowintothedrainpan.
5) Replace the spout and strap in their correct positions.
6) Allow the icemaker to sit for about 10 minutes before operation.
7)Replacethetoppanelinitscorrectposition.Movethecontrolswitchtothe"ICE"
position,thenplugtheunitbackin.Movethepowerswitchtothe"ON"position,then
replace the front panel in its correct position. Make ice using the solution until the
icemaker stops making ice.
8)Removethefrontpanel,thenmovethepowerswitchtothe"OFF"position.Movethe
controlswitchtothe"DRAIN"position,thenmovethepowerswitchbacktothe"ON"
position. Replace the front panel in its correct position.
9) Allow the water system to drain for 5 minutes.
10)Removethefrontpanel.Movethecontrolswitchtothe"ICE"position,thenreplacethe
front panel in its correct position.
11) Open the water supply line shut-off valve to supply water to the reservoir.
12)Afterthegearmotorstarts,removethefrontpanel.Movethepowerswitchtothe"OFF"
position.Movethecontrolswitchtothe"DRAIN"position,thenmovethepowerswitch
backtothe"ON"position.Replacethefrontpanelinitscorrectposition.
13) Allow the water system to drain for 5 minutes.
14)Removethefrontpanel.Movethecontrolswitchtothe"ICE"position,thenreplacethe
front panel in its correct position.
15) Allow the icemaker to run for about 30 minutes, then remove the front panel. Move the
powerswitchtothe"OFF"position,thenunplugtheunitfromtheelectricaloutlet.
16) Pour warm water into the dispenser unit/storage bin and melt any remaining ice. Clean
the dispenser unit/storage bin liner using a neutral cleaner. Rinse thoroughly after
cleaning.
17)Plugtheunitbackin.Makesurethecontrolswitchisinthe"ICE"position,thenmove
thepowerswitchtothe"ON"positiontostarttheautomaticicemakingprocess.
B. Maintenance
This icemaker must be maintained individually, referring to the instruction manual and
labels provided with the icemaker. The schedule below is a guideline. More frequent
maintenance,however,mayberequireddependingonwaterquality,theicemaker's
environment, and local sanitation regulations.
