n. Lift the locking bar (2).
o. Disconnect the cable (3) from the panel.
NOTE: When replacing the touch control board or display panel, be sure to update the touch
firmware, available on the HP product support page.
p. When installing a display panel, be sure to install the tape on the left and right sides of the
display back cover as shown in the following illustration. Display panel tape is available as
spare part number N86660-001.
Display panels are available using the following spare part numbers:
● N86624-001: WUXGA, antiglare, 300 nits
● N86626-001: 2.8K, BrightView, 400 nits, OLED
10. To remove the hinges from the display enclosure:
a. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (1) that secure each hinge to the display back
cover.
b. Remove the antenna cable (2) from the right hinge.
