Introduction
This
chapter
describes
how
to
use
a
PC
to
download
new
operating
software
to
the
4934A
TIMS.
The
basic
procedure
for
downloading
software
is
as
follows:
•
Check
the
distribution
diskette
for
“readme”
files.
•
Connect
a
PC
to
the
4934A
using
a
serial
cable.
•
Put
the
4934A
into
Download
mode
and
set
the
baud
rate.
•
Execute
the
download
command
on
the
PC.
The
following
section
describes

detail.
