1. Remove the four screw covers (1) and the four Phillips M2.5 × 7.0 screws (2) from the bottom cover.
2. Starting near the hinges, use a tool to release the bottom cover (1).
3. Remove the bottom cover (2).
To replace the bottom cover, reverse the removal procedures.
Battery
To remove the battery, use this procedure and illustration.
