Before removing thesystem board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 25).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 27).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 28).
4. Remove the heat sink (see Heat sink on page 36).
5. Remove the WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 30).
Remove the system board:
1. Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
Camera cable (ZIF) (1)
Display cable (ZIF) (2)
I/O board cable (reverse ZIF) (3)
I/O board cable (reverse ZIF) (4)
Left speaker cable (5)
Keyboard backlight cable (ZIF) (6) (select products only)
Keyboard cable (ZIF) (7)
Touchpad cable (ZIF) (8)
Right speaker cable (9)
2. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 3.5 screws (1) from the bracket, and then remove the bracket (2).
3. Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 2.5 screws (3) from the system board.
