3. Detach the NFC module cable (3) from the top cover/keyboard. (The NFC module cable is attached to the top
cover/keyboard with double-sided adhesive.)
4. Remove the NFC module cable.
Reverse this procedure to install theNFC module cable.

Before removing theNFC module, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 45).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 45).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 47).
4. Remove the NFC module cable (see NFC module cable on page 80).
Remove the NFC module:
1. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the NFC module cable is connected, and then disconnect the NFC
module cable from the NFC module.
