Note After the card is configured with network
parameters, the configuration values are saved and
maintained even after the printer is turned off and
back on again.
Step 7. Install the Printer On Your
System (If Not Already Installed)
Depending on the method you use to configure the HP Jetdirect card
for network operation, you may still need to set up your computer
system for printing.
To add the printer and enable printing on your system, do one of
the following:
● Use the HP Jetdirect printer installation software supplied on
the HP Jetdirect CD-ROM (you will need your printer driver if it
is not already installed), or
● Use your HP printing system installation software that came
with your printer.
For optional printer installation methods, refer to the applicable
HP Jetdirect Administrator’s Guide supplied on the HP Jetdirect
CD-ROM.
