Introduction
The HP Jetdirect 615N/610N/600N family of internal print servers
are network interface cards for HP Enhanced I/O (EIO) printers and
MFP (multifunction peripheral) products. With an HP Jetdirect
print server, you can connect and share your printer anywhere on
your network and print at network speeds.
A typical network using an HP Jetdirect 615N/610N/600N print
server is illustrated below. The card must first be installed into the
printer and connected to the network. Then, you must configure the
card for network operation.
● To configure the card, you can use the HP Jetdirect printer
installation and setup software. Refer to the HP Jetdirect
software installation instructions included with this product.

Alternatively, for printers equipped with a control panel, you
can use the printer’s control panel to configure basic network
parameters. See Appendix A
