Step 5. Verify That the HP Jetdirect
Card is Operating Properly
1.
Print another Printer Configuration Page (or Service
Configuration print) as described previously in (page 15
) and
verify that Jetdirect Configuration Page information also prints.
In HP LaserJet printers, a Jetdirect Configuration Page will
print for each EIO slot that contains an HP Jetdirect card.
In HP DesignJet printers, Jetdirect configuration information
will be included on the Service Configuration print.
2. In the General Information section of the Jetdirect
Configuration Page, locate the message “I/O CARD READY”.
This section of the configuration page also contains product-
specific information, such as:
■ HP Jetdirect product number
■ Firmware revision number
■ LAN Hardware (MAC) address
■ Manufacturing identification number
