Installing a Server
Before beginning any installation or configuration procedures, do one of the
following:
If the server has a factory-installed operating system, prevent data loss by
configuring the server using the proper instructions. Refer to “Server with a
Factory-Installed OS” in this chapter.
If the operating system was not factory-installed, follow the proper instructions.
Refer to “Server with an OS Purchased Separately” in this chapter.
