Removal and Replacement Procedures
5.17 Fan Assembly
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3).
2. Remove the keyboard (Section 5.10).
3. Remove the switch cover (Section 5.15).
4. Disconnect the fan cable 1 from the system board.
5. Remove the Torx8 T8M2.5×7.0 screw 2 that secures the
fan assembly to the base enclosure.
6. Remove the fan assembly 3 from the computer.
Removing the Fan Assembly
Reverse the above procedure to install the fan assembly.
