Optical drive
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 31).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 32).
3. Disconnect the optical drive SATA cable (1)from the back of the optical drive.
4. Disconnect the optical drive power cable (2)from the back of the optical drive.
5. Press the optical drive release latch (1).
6. Remove the optical drive (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the optical drive.
