9. Slide the drive cage (2)up and to the right at an angle and remove it.
Reverse this procedure to install the drive cage.
Hard drives
Follow these steps to remove a 2.5-inch hard drive:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 31).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 32).
3. Remove the drive cage (see Drive cage on page 35).
4. If it is necessary to remove the top hard drive from the drive cage, remove the four Torx-15 M3.0×9.0
screws (1)that secure the top hard drive to the drive cage.
