a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Remove all installed power input modules ("Hot-plug power input module" on page 83).
5. Remove the server from the rack (on page 30).
6. Place the server on a sturdy, level surface.
7. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 37).
8. If installed, remove the secondary PCI riser cage ("Remove the PCI riser cages" on page 31).
9. Remove the HP Smart Storage Battery holder.
10. Disconnect the RPS backplane cables.
11. Release the RPS backplane cables from the cable clips.
