RBSU menu (HP ProLiant G7 servers or server blades) 80
Automatic (The system ROM configures either 2GB or 3GB depending on the amount of Memory
Mapped I/O the system requires.)
Address Mode 44-bit (G7 servers)
Enabling this option allows memory to be addressed with 44 bits, allowing for configuration of a large
memory configuration, such as servers with more than 1 TB of memory. Verify that the OS supports 44-bit
addressing capability before enabling this option.
When this option is disabled, there is a possibility that some installed memory in the system will not be
configured; therefore, not recognized by the OS. This impact varies depending on the system memory
configuration.
