Adjacent Sector Prefetch (G7 servers)
The Adjacent Sector Prefetch option allows processor prefetch features to be disabled. In most cases, the
option should remain enabled. The option should be disabled only after performing application
benchmarking to verify improved performance in a particular environment.
DCU Prefetcher (G7 servers)
DCU prefetcher allows the disabling of a processor prefetch feature. In very limited cases, setting this
option to Disabled may improve performance. In the vast majority of cases, the default value of Enabled
provides better performance. Users should only disable this option after performing application
benchmarking to verify improved performance in their environment.
