Callout Item Description
1 PCIe Slot 1 For all server models, the Accelerator card is installed in
this slot. Both indicator LEDs on the card emit solid green
continuously to indicate normal operation.
2 PCIe Slot 2 For all server models, this slot is used by the Accelerator card.
3 PCIe Slot 3 SAS Expander Card.
4 PCIe Slot 4 LSI RAID controller battery.
5 PCIe Slot 5 For dual processor servers only, this slot is available for
installing additional boards.
6 PCIe Slot 6 LSI MegaRAID SAS 9361-8i RAID Controller.
7 Boot Drives Two 480 GB SATA SSDs.
8 Power supplies Two, redundant, 800 W hot plug power supplies with fans,
numbered PS1 and PS2 from right to left. Each power supply
has a status indicator LED for AC power present (green).
If you need to replace a power supply, always disconnect the
power cord before removing the power supply.
9 Video port Use to connect a VGA monitor for local access.
10 1 Gb RJ-45 ports # 1, 2, 3, 4 1 Gb LOM containing four ports numbered 1 through 4, from
left to right. Use interfaces 1 and 2 for the Hewlett Packard
Enterprise Management network.
11 iLO connector Dedicated port for remote, out-of-band, web-based
management using Integrated Lights-Out (iLO), an HPE
proprietary embedded server management technology.
12 USB 3.0 connectors Dual USB 3.0 connectors enable you to connect a USB device,
such as a mouse or keyboard.
