• If necessary, update the tape drive firmware
to the current version.
• When encryption is enabled with the
Encryption Kit, ensure that all tape drives in
the logical library support encryption (LTO-4
and later generations). When possible, avoid
including LTO-2 and LTO-3 tape drives in a
logical library when encryption is enabled.
