Two-Port 10 GbE NIC Host PCIe Adapter information
This information applies only to the HPE 3PAR Two-Port 10Gb Ethernet NIC Adapter for the HPE 3PAR
StoreServ 8000 Storage systems.
IMPORTANT: For the HPE 3PAR Two-Port 10Gb Ethernet NIC Adapter, some of the adapters have
the faceplate labeling reversed, with the port on the left identified as port 2, when oriented as in the
following illustration. This illustration shows the corrected label with port 1 on the left.
Use SFP+ transceiver connectors with the ports.

Four-Port 1 GbE NIC Host PCIe Adapter information
This information applies only to the HPE 3PAR Four-Port 1Gb Ethernet NIC Adapter for the HPE 3PAR
StoreServ 8000 Storage systems.
IMPORTANT: For the HPE 3PAR Four-Port 1Gb Ethernet NIC Adapter, some of the adapters have
the faceplate labeling incorrect, indicating that the ports are numbered 0 through 3. The following
illustration shows the corrected label, indicating that the ports are numbered 1 through 4.
