Storage Cluster 2 and volume and pool names have C3 as part of their naming convention, for example:
Pool C3_P1 to Pool C3_P6.
Procedure
1. If Remote Support via STaTS is configured, use the following StoreOnce CLI command to put the
StoreOnce System into maintenance mode and prevent a support case being generated:
system enable remoteeventsuppression “2nd JBOD Capacity Upgrade”
2. Use the supplied 0.5 m SAS cables to connect the inter-drawer SAS cabling, as illustrated below.

3. Use the supplied 1.0 m or 2.0 m SAS cables to connect the ports on the RAID controller in PCIe slot 3
of the server and the enclosure drawers, as shown.
NOTE:
Both cable lengths are supported. To facilitate future expansion, HPE recommends using a 2.0 m SAS
cable to connect from the server to Drawer 2 of the disk enclosure. See SAS cable lengths on page
16.
