– Disconnect spring 1.
– Loosen nut 4 and turn it back with push rod 5 until you have maximum free
travel.
– To adjust the basic position of the foot brake lever individually, loosen nut 2, and
turn screw 3 accordingly.

The range of adjustment is limited.
– Turn push rod 5 accordingly until you have free travel A. If necessary, adjust the
basic position of the foot brake lever.
Guideline
Free travel of foot brake lever 3… 5 mm (0.12… 0.2 in)
– Hold screw 3 and tighten nut 2.

Nut, foot brake lever stop M8 20 Nm
(14.8 lbf ft)
– Hold push rod 5 and tighten nut 4.
Guideline
Remaining nuts, chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
– Reconnect spring 1.
12.11 Checking the rear brake fluid level
Warning
Danger of accidents Failure of the brake system.
– If the brake fluid level falls below the MIN mark, this indicates a leakage in the brake system or worn-out brake linings.
Check the brake system and do not continue riding. (Your authorized HUSABERG workshop would be pleased to help you.)

– Change the brake fluid of the front and rear brake according to the service schedule. (Your authorized HUSABERG work-

– Stand the vehicle upright.
– Check the brake fluid level in viewer 1.

– If brake fluid comes into contact with the eyes, flush the eyes thoroughly with water and consult a physician immediately.
