Changing parts of the lifting/
lowering control
Dismantling
1. Remove the six screws (1).
CAUTION
When removing the rear plate, make
certain that cables to the microswitch (3)
are disconnected before lifting away the
plate.
2. Remove the eight screws (2).
3. Disconnect the cable terminals of microswitch
(3) before lifting off the plate and placing the
grass discharge chute against the clutch or the
cooling fan.
4. Remove the wire, with nut (8), from the segment
wire-guide.
5. Remove the gear plate (6).
6. Remove the cotters (10), and take off the control
lever (7).
7. Take out the control axle (9) and segment wire-
guide (4) at the inside of the machine.
8. Unscrew the screw (5) and remove the segment
wire-guide from the control axle.
Mounting
1. Fit the segment wire-guide (4) onto the control
axle (9), and secure with the screw (5).
2. Grease the control axle (9) and insert it in the
axle bearing from the inside of the machine.
3. Fit the control lever (7) by tapping in the
cotters (10).
4. Fit the gear plate (6).
5. Fit the wire, with the nut (8), on the segment
wire-guide.
6. Connect the cables to the microswitch (3), insert
the grass discharge chute, and fit the rear plate.
7. Fit the eight screws (2).
8. Fit the six screws (1).
