12 Parameterisation
12.1 General
The instrument has a program enable which must be set to change the settings. The
program enable can be set or cancelled during operation. It provides protection against
unintentional alterations of settings.
12.2 Parameterisation in SDCI mode
The pressure sensor can be parameterised in the SDCI mode using the IO-Link
interface by means of any IO-Link compatible master configuration tool (according IO
specifications V1.1). IO-Link specifications V1.0 are as well supported.
Should the read parameter sets from the device not be accepted, we recommend to
carry out a plausibility check of the parameter set.
For detailed information on IO-Link device parameters, factory defaults, process and
diagnostic data, supported standard system commands as well as additional HYDAC
device specific system commands for the various product versions (part numbers),
please refer to the corresponding IODD (IO Device Description).
The IODD setting parameters can be found in chapter Annex: IODD Setting
Parameters.
The IODD can be downloaded at: https://ioddfinder.io-link.com and/or
on the HYDAC Homepage at: www.hydac.com
Entering the part number (9xxxxx) in the search box, the corresponding ZIP file will
appear.
The Zip file has an additional PDF file with an IODD description.
12.3 Parameterisation in SIO Mode
If IO-Link is not used, the EDS 3000 IO-Link functions as a pressure switch with two
switching outputs or with 1 switching output and 1 analogue output.
It can be flexibly adapted to the relevant customer application via the integrated operating
keys (menu navigation, please see chapter 15 Basic Settings) in conjunction with the
HYDAC programming device HPG P1-000 or the programming adapter ZBE P1-000.
12.4 Parameterisation with HPG P1-000
(Connection via standard cable)
