Preventive maintenance
Test the low-pressure water TDS level
Some TDS meters require calibration before use. For best results, calibrate the meter at 25.0°C (77°F). Refer to
the instructions supplied with the TDS meter.
If multiple readings are taken, turn the meter OFF between readings.
Required parts, tools, and materials
13897 TDS meter
Container for a water sample
Clean, deionized water or filtered water
Do this task when the pump is running in cooling mode.
1. Open the water valve to drain the water from the system. Make sure that the water pressure gauges
show0.0bar or0kPa(0psi).
2. Let the water run for 30 seconds.
3. Take a sample from the wastewater outlet. If the wastewater outlet is not accessible, take a sample of the
supply water going into the pump.
