7.1.7 Radio Clone
Radio Clone allows you to wirelessly copy configuration data of a radio to another radio. The cloning data do not
include radio ID, BT alias, and voice notification files.

Radio Clone applies only to radios of the same model with the same frequency and software version.

Radios in low battery power cannot enter Radio Clone mode.
Before Clone
It is recommended that you clone only one radio at a time.

Prepare radio A (to be cloned) and radio B (to receive the cloned data).

Make sure the two radios have enough battery power.

Switch the radio A and the radio B to Radio Clone mode.

Operation
Radio A
1. On the home screen, go to
Menu
>
Advanced
>
Radio Clone
.
2. Select
Send Data
, and then press the
Menu
key.
The radio A enters Radio Clone mode, and the LED indicator glows
red. If no radio clones data from the radio A in five minutes, it
automatically exits Radio Clone mode.
Radio B
1. On the home screen, go to
Menu
>
Advanced
>
Radio Clone
.
2. Select
Receive Data
, and then press the
Menu
key.
The radio B enters Radio Clone mode, and the LED indicator glows
green.
During Clone
When the radio B receives configuration data from the radio A, the LED indicator of the radio B flashes red rapidly.
