2.1.7 Serviceability
Install the unit so that the front access panel is readily accessible for servicing. The front panel must be
removed for access to the filter for replacement and access to the control board for wiring and setup. For
more information on maintenance, see Service and maintenance on page 53. For wiring diagrams, see
Electrical connections on page 28.
2.2 Positioning and mounting the unit
This section provides guidance on ways to orient and install the unit. Ensure that:
You install the air handling unit level and plumb.
If the unit is sitting on the floor, shim as needed to level the unit.
If the unit is suspended, it is secured to the mounting system.
The unit offers four mounting options for supply air discharge: up, down, left, or right. For diagrams on the
possible orientations including dimensions, see Cabinet and air supply dimensions on page 8.
2.2.1 Return air openings for ducting
The unit provides three options for return air opening: left or right side return air and bottom return air.

If installing the unit with the air supply opening on the right, you will need to reposition the air filter brackets.
