Numeric Keys
Pressing any Numeric key displays the digit on the upper half
of
its key face
when the keyboard
is
in Numeric Mode. The character
on
the lower half
of
the
key face
is
displayed when the key
is
pressed while the keyboard
is
in Alphabetic
Mode.
Remember
that
the
normal mode
of
your keyboard
is
Alphabetic Mode. The
keyboard automatically shifts to Numeric Mode when your screen
is
formatted
and the cursor enters a numeric field. At all other times,
you
must press the
Numeric Shift or the Numeric Lock keys
to
shift
to
Numeric Mode.
