Note: By default, only secure protocols, such as, SSH and HTTPS, are enabled.

Cannot communicate with the CMM
Use the information in this section to troubleshoot the compute node when you
cannot communicate with the CMM.
Action
Complete the following steps until the problem is solved:
1. Make sure that the protocols that you are using are enabled.
Note: By default, only secure protocols, such as, SSH and HTTPS, are enabled.
2. Use a serial cable to connect to the I/O module to further isolate the problem.
3. Reset the CMM to the default settings by pressing the reset button on the
CMM.
Cannot communicate with the I/O module
Use the information in this section to troubleshoot the compute node when you
cannot communicate with the I/O module.
Action
Complete the following steps until the problem is solved:
1. Make sure that the protocols that you are using are enabled.
Note: By default, only secure protocols, such as, SSH and HTTPS, are enabled.
2. Use a serial cable to connect to the I/O module to further isolate the problem.
One or more compute nodes are unable to communicate with
SAN
Use the information in this section to troubleshoot one or more compute nodes are
unable to communicate with SAN.
v Make sure that:
1. The I/O module is powered on and the appropriate ports are enabled on the
I/O module.
2. The CMM has reported that the I/O module has completed POST and that
no errors have been reported in the logs.
3. The SAN device is powered on and is functional.
4. All cables between the I/O module and the SAN device are properly
connected and secure and that the activity LEDs are lit on the applicable
ports.
