The Paw I Mounti ng Stud shou Id c lear the Escapement
Torque
Bar by .001" at the closest poi nt .
The
cycle shaft overthrow should bl~ .007" to .015"
(1 to 3 degrees).
The Torque Bar should clear the Pawl Release Lug by
.002" - .010". Later models use high side of Spec.
The Trigger should disengage from the Torque Bar when
the pawls are .010" - .015" from the rack.
Escapement shou Id occur after pri nti ng and after the
Typehead has moved away from the Platen by 1/4" -
1/2".

With an Interposer latched down and the Fi Iter Shaft
Gear held in a driven direction, there should be
.010" - .015" clearance between the Interposer and
the Fi Iter Shaft Blade.
The mainspring tension should be 1/2 to 3/4 Lbs.

Stop.
b. Dust Covers - Card Holders.
c. Anvi I and front Carrier Shoes.
