microprocessor socket might have the socket cover style shown in
illustration A or the style shown in illustration B.

d. Remove the static-protective bag that contains the new microprocessor, and
the foam surrounding the bag, from the box.
e. Touch the static-protective package that contains the new microprocessor to
any unpainted metal surface on the server; then, carefully remove the
microprocessor from the package.
