4.4.5 Levelling and alignment
FOREWORD
Alignment between the feeder and lathe is the most critical installation phase; therefore, this
operation should be carried out by experienced personnel with the greatest accuracy.
CAUTION:
bad alignment can be the main cause of feeder malfunction and resulting
damage.
CAUTION:
do not operate manually (i.e. using the special crank) when the electric power
is connected.
PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE
• Open the upper guard.
• To bring the bar pusher to its fully retracted
position, select manual mode and press key
or on the keypad.
