Ilmor High Performance Marine, LLC may deny you warranty coverage if
your sterndrive/inboard engine or a part has failed due to abuse, neglect,
improper maintenance or unapproved modications.
You are responsible for presenting your sterndrive/inboard engine to an
Ilmor High Performance Marine, LLC authorized service center as soon as
a problem exists. e warranty repairs will be completed in a reasonable
amount of time, not to exceed 30 days.
If you have any questions regarding your warranty rights and
responsibilities, you should contact ILMOR High Performance Marine,
LLC at 1-734-456-3600.
General Emissions Warranty Coverage
Ilmor High Performance Marine, LLC must warrant that the engine is:
(1) Designed, built and equipped so as to conform with all applicable
regulations adopted by the Air Resources Board pursuant to its
authority in Chapters 1 and 2, Part 5, Division 26 of the Health and
Safety Code; and by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
pursuant to 40 CFR 1045; and
(2) Free from defects in materials and workmanship that cause the failure
of a warranted part to be identical in all material respects to that part as
described in the engine manufacturer’s application for certication.
Exclusions
Failures other than those resulting from defects in material or
workmanship are not covered by this warranty. is warranty does not
cover damage to emission control systems or parts which are a result
of owner abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, the incorporation of,
or use of, non-exempted add-on or modied parts, or the unapproved
modication of any part.
is warranty does not cover replacement of expendable maintenance
items made in connection with required maintenance service aer the
item’s rst scheduled replacement as listed in the maintenance section of
the product Owner’s Manual, examples of which include: spark plugs and
lters. If a part is repaired or replaced under this warranty, the life of the
warranty is not extended beyond its original expiration date.

is warranty is applicable only where the California and U.S. EPA
emission control system warranty regulation is in eect. e use of add-on
or modied part(s) not exempted by the California Air Resources Board or
the U.S. EPA may be reason for not warranting a claim, at the discretion of
Ilmor High Performance Marine, LLC. In the case of non-exempted add-
on or modied part(s) causing failure to a warranted part, the warranted
part will not be covered.
