The display will now say “SET TIME?” If you wish to set the clock in the IMPAX unit, press
the Enter/Yes key. The display will now show one of the days of the week, I. e. Tuesday. The
Next/No key can be used to toggle between the seven days of the week. When you select the
correct day, press the Enter/Yes key.
The next display will be “YEAR (0-99) YY” where YY is a one or two digit number
representing the year. Type in the current year and press the Enter/Yes key. The next display
will be “MONTH (1-12) MM” where MM is a one or two digit number representing the month.
Type in the current month and press the Enter/Yes key. The next display will be “DATE (1-31)
DD” where DD is a one or two digit number representing the day. Type in the current day and
press the Enter/Yes key. The next display will be “HOUR (0-23) HH” where HH is a one or
two digit number representing the hour. Type in the current hour and press the Enter/Yes key.
The next display will be “MINUTE (0-23) MM” where MM is a one or two digit number
representing the minute. Type in the current minute and press the Enter/Yes key. The display
will now show the day, date and hour in the format “TUE DD/MM HH:MM”. This display
will last about five seconds and then will go to the next screen which is “SET TIMERS?”
Setting the Timers
Timers is a function in the Version 58 software which will allow the IMPAX unit to accumulate
time in the four modes, Off, Stop, Test, and Production. When you press the Enter/Yes key, the
next display is “TIMERS ENABLED” or “TIMERS DISABLED.” You can toggle between
these two selections with the Next/No key.
If you select Enabled, the next display will show “T/OFF HHHH|MM” which shows how
many hours and minutes the IMPAX unit has been turned off since the Timers were last cleared.
Press the Enter/Yes key and the next display will be “T/STOP HHHH|MM” which shows how
many hours and minutes the IMPAX unit has been in the Stop Mode since the Timers were last
cleared. Press the Enter/Yes key and the next display will be “T/TEST HHHH|MM” which
shows how many hours and minutes the IMPAX unit has been in Test Mode since the Timers
were last cleared. Press the Enter/Yes key and the next display will be “T/PROD
HHHH|MM” which shows how many hours and minutes the IMPAX unit has been in Production
Mode since the Timers were last cleared.
If the Timers are enabled, the operator can view them and clear, or reset them, by Pressing the
Function (#) key and then the 6 key. Press the Enter/Yes key and the next display will be “SET
AMP LIMITS?”
Setting the Amp Limits
This step allows the user to set the amplification limits and the integrate limits, which enables
the IMPAX to alert the operator of an inoperative sensor. These values are set with the Machine
and the IMPAX unit operating. The IMPAX will give a certain three digit number (XXX) when
running, and a higher number when the sensor is unplugged (from the satellite box) or not
