  The continuous output may not be updating because 'TX CONTINUOUS' is disabled; enable it in the configuration. Also, check the cable connections and pin configuration to ensure they are correct. Verify that the baud rate and format on serial port 2 match the receiver settings. If the problem persists, the transmitter/receiver IC (U3 RS232) might be damaged and needs replacing.

Verify that the internal jumper JP3 (RS232/422/485/CL) is set properly. If the problem persists, the RS232 transmitter/receiver IC (U3 RS232) or the RS422/485 transmitter/receiver IC (RS422{U11 75176} RS485{U7 75176}) may be damaged and need to be replaced.
