4.9 Temperature control
To use the temperature controller a thermocouple
type N article no 13400016 up to 1300 °C (parameter P.000 - must be set to 0002)
has to be connected to the socket inside the casting chamber. Very important is that you
use the thermocouple together with the thermocouple protection cover article no
132000046.

Measuring point of temperature
Important: Always use the thermocouple
with ceramic protective tube and only in
crucibles with graphite insert. Other-
wise, the induction energy couples direct-
ly into the thermocouple (without protec-
tion by the graphite). The result, which
would be in the display, would be pure
nonsense!
Please fill crucible with material amount
at higher level than measuring point of
thermocouple.

The nominal temperature can be set with the buttons ‘Temp. +’ and ‘Temp. –‘. The heating
power is now controlled by the temperature controller.
Information!
Without thermocouple or with defective thermocouple the display
shows "E041".
