4. Confirm the pre-auth completion amount and press [Enter] to
confirm or [F4] to change the amount.
5. Enter new amount and press [Enter].
6. The terminal starts to communicate with Global Payments via
the mobile device and once the transaction is complete, the
receipt copy will be sent to the mobile device.
NOTE:
Pre-auth will not settle a transaction. Completion
will settle transactions.
11 – RETURN
Use the Return transaction to credit a cardholder:
1. Initiate Return transaction on the mobile device.
2. On the iCMPsi terminal, enter the manager password and press
[Enter].
3. Enter the total return amount (including tip and cashback) and
press [Enter].
4. Press [Enter] and hand the terminal to the cardholder.
5. The cardholder inserts or swipes the credit card.
6. For debit returns, pass the terminal to the cardholder and the
cardholder will insert or swipe his/her debit card. NOTE: Debit
card numbers cannot be manually entered.
7. The cardholder presses [Enter] to confirm the transaction
amount.
8. The cardholder selects [CHQ] or [SAV].
9. The cardholder enters his/her PIN and presses [Enter] and
hands the terminal back to the clerk.
10. The terminal starts to communicate with Global Payments via
the mobile device and once the transaction is complete, the
receipt copy will be sent to the mobile device.
NOTE:
Transaction password protection is highly
recommended for return transactions.
