Troubleshooting
In case of very low or no auxiliary current a DGP can raise a
PSU fault. To solve the problem, check the following:
1. Aux power voltage is adjusted to 13.8 V DC (with no
auxiliary devices and battery connected).
2. Current consumption is at least 0.1 A when battery is
connected. See “Menu 1, DGP status” on page 7 for
details.
If any of above does not comply, add up to four 1 kΩ resistors
in parallel to auxiliary power output (see Figure 4, item 9).
Specifications
Mains power specifications
Mains input voltage (J17 – AC)
Current consumption at 230V~
Main board supply voltage
Power supply specifications
Minimum: 9.5 V
Typical: 13.8 V 0.2 V
Maximum: 14.4 V 0.2 V
2.9 A max. at 13.8 V 0.2V

power output [4]
Deep discharge protection
Typical: 100 mV (all)
Maximum: 300 mV (all)
Overvoltage trigger value
[1] Minimum voltage only when mains supply voltage is disconnected
and system is running on battery.
[2] Maximum permanent current to power devices external to the
control equipment in the absence of alarm conditions (EN mode).
[3] The specifications depend on the battery capacity. Used batteries
are: 7.2 Ah, 12 V nominal (BS127) / 18 Ah, 12 V nominal (BS131)
/ 25 Ah, 12 V nominal (BS129N).
[4] A specific fail message is generated when any output fails.
[5] Maximum ripple voltage only when empty battery is charging.
Available Aux/Battery current based on backup
N/P: Not permitted, N/A: Not available, DT: Discharge time,
CT: Charge time
Example for EN Grade 3
When using battery backup as specified for EN Grade 3 using
an 18 Ah battery, the maximum available auxiliary current is
380 mA.
This current can be used for RASs and DGPs on the ATS
system databus, detectors on the auxiliary power output, etc.
Fuse rating must be taken into account.
