Thesecondaryemergencyreleaseisusedonlyto
lowerthepatient.
Incaseswheretheprimaryreleaseiseithernot
functioningorunreachable,asecondaryemergency
releasemaybeused.
Thesecondaryreleasewillonlyoperatewhenthere
isapatientinthelift.
Thesecondaryemergencyreleaseissetfor75kg
(165lbs).Ifthepatientweightismoreorless
than75kg(165lbs),thespeedofthesecondary
emergencyreleasemustbeadjusted.
1.Adjustthespeedofthesecondaryrelease:
a.Increasethespeed—Useascrewdrivertoloosen
thescrewintheEMERGENCYgripA.
b.Decreasethespeed—Useascrewdrivertotighten
thescrewintheEMERGENCYgrip.
2.PullupontheEMERGENCYgripAandpushdownon
theboomBatthesametimetolowerthepatient.

1.PresstheREDbuttonAonthecontrolboxBintostop
theboomandpatientfromraisingorlowering.
2.Toreset,rotatetheemergencybuttonclockwise.
