What to do if electric actuator fails on Invacare Lifting Systems?
- JJordan Vincent DDSJul 29, 2025
If the electric actuator on your Invacare Lifting Systems fails to lift, or the legs won't open when you press the button, there are several possible causes: 1. A loose hand-control or actuator connector. Ensure these are properly seated and fully connected. 2. Low battery. Charge the batteries. 3. The RED emergency stop button is pressed IN. Rotate it CLOCKWISE until it pops out. 4. The battery is not connected properly to the control box. Reconnect it. 5. Damaged connecting terminals. Replace the battery pack. 6. The boom or leg actuator needs service, or the load is too high.
