Therearetwocontrolsonthepumpassembly:
•Thecontrolvalve
•Thepumphandle
1.Toraisethelift:
a.PositionthecontrolvalveintheclosedpositionA(towards
thepumphandleC).
b.MovethepumphandleupanddowntoelevatetheboomD
untilitlocksinthenotchofthebracket.
c.Ensuretheboomhaslockedinthenotchofthebracket.
2.Tolowerthelift:
a.GentlyopenBthecontrolvalve(awayfromthepump
handle).
b.IfthereisnopatientintheslingE,pulldownontheboom.
Therateofdescentoftheboomiscontrolledbythe
amountthatthecontrolvalveisopen.
Asafetygateispartofthehydraulicsystemthatcontrols
themaximumdescentoftheboomregardlessofhowfar
thecontrolvalveisopened.
