Theliftcouldtipandendangerthepatientandassistants.
–Thelegsoftheliftmustbeinthemaximumopen
positionforoptimumstabilityandsafety.Ifitis
necessarytoclosethelegsofthelifttomaneuverthe
liftunderabed,closethelegsoftheliftonlyaslongas
ittakestopositiontheliftoverthepatientandliftthe
patientoffthesurfaceofthebed.Whenthelegsof
theliftarenolongerunderthebed,returnthelegsof
thelifttothemaximumopenposition.
–Theshifterhandlemustbelockedinplaceforoptimum
stabilityandsafety.
Closing/OpeningManualLegs
Theshifterhandleisusedtoopenorclosethelegsofthebasefor
stabilitywhenliftingapatient.
