Thepatient'sweightwillcontinuetobeseeninthe
displaywindow.Thedisplaywillturnoffautomatically
afteratwominuteperiodofnon-use[nochangesin
weightexceedingfivepounds(twokilograms)].Youcan
NOTadjustthetimedelayforautomaticshutoff.After
thedisplayhasturnedoff,theweightmayberecalledby
pressingtheON/OFFbutton.Theunitcanbeturnedoff
bypressingtheON/OFFbuttonasecondtime.
9.6ReplacingtheBattery
Thescaleispoweredbyaninevoltalkalinebatterythat
shouldprovideapproximately1500readingsbeforeneeding
replacement.
Whenbatteryreplacementisneeded,lobatwillappearonthe
display.Performthefollowing:
1.SlidethebatterydoorAopeninthedirectionofthearrowB.
2.Removeexistingbattery.
3.Installthenewbattery.
4.Reinstallthebatterydoor.
9.7CalibratingtheScale
TheI-LiftScalewillbepre-calibratedatthefactorywiththe
loadcell.Shoulditbenecessarytore-calibratethescale,
followtheinstructionsoutlinedbelow.
1.Thepatientandtheslingmustberemovedfromthescaleto

2.WiththeI-LiftScaleon,removethefourscrewsAontheback
oftheenclosureandremovethefrontcoverBtoexposethe
PCboardC.
