2. Inspection
2.1 Approvals
The Robin
TM
ceiling hoist has been tested and approved in accordance with Lift standard EN/ISO 10535, and is
TÜV approved.
The hoist is CE-marked in accordance with the medical directive and standard EN/ISO 10535.
2.2 Before first-time use
Before first use, all features of the hoist system must be inspected by a authorised Invacare® installer.
The hoist is not intended to be used together with any other MEDICAL ELECTRICAL
EQUIPMENT, meaning that the patient must not be connected to any other MEDICAL
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT during transfer with the Robin
TM
hoist.
